Following the abrupt withdrawal of U.S. forces, Siage’s dramatic escape in 1975 down the Mekong River at nights while concealing himself in the jungle during the day captivated our board. Siage is a gentle and humble man who served as a Lieutenant in the Lao-Hmong Special Guerilla Units (SGU) during the Secret War. He proudly wears the uniform of the Lao-Hmong SGU during special events.
